Staff Bios

Unique Security Inc is owned and operated by Steve Hart and Lonnie Mosier.

Steve Hart

Prior to forming Unique Security, Inc., Mr. Hart was employed with a leading detention system contractor. He spent over 15 years serving as the Service and Warranty Manager. His responsibilities included implementation and supervision of all service calls and warranty issues within the detention equipment and electronic divisions. He implemented and coordinated preventive maintenance contracts, as well as meeting with architects, security consultants and owners at completion of projects to assure equipment and systems were installed in compliance with contract documents and to owners satisfaction. Prior to working in the security industry, Mr. Hart spent eight years with Daniel Construction Company inspecting mechanical and piping systems within the nuclear power generating industry and eight years with Blount International Ltd. as the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager. Mr. Hart holds a degree in aviation from the Ozark Aviation and Technical College.

Lonnie Mosier

Lonnie Mosier spent over 21 years working for a leading detention system contractor company. During his tenure, Mr. Mosier held various positions including Electronics Project Engineer, Electronics Operations Manager and the Engineering Manager for their Service and Warranty Group. Prior to working in the security industry, Mr. Mosier spent five years in the nuclear power generating industry. Mr. Mosier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Gary Hart

Mr. Hart has over 30 years of contracting experience having worked on commercial, industrial and institutional projects, both internationally and domestically. While working with two {2} large international general contracting firms, Gary’s duties included electrical estimating, engineering, project engineering and project management. He has over 25 years of experience working in the detention market place. His responsibilities have included working with architects, consultants and end user’s conducting facility evaluations, applying product, spec writing and system layouts for detention equipment and security electronic control systems. Gary has developed long lasting relationships with internationally known architectural and engineering firms as well as various owners from county, state, federal and international government agencies. He successfully launched his previous employer into the international correctional market in South Africa, the Middle East, Mexico and South America. Gary attended Greenville College, Greenville, SC, and Auburn University – Montgomery, AL. Additionally, he has attended several building code and management courses.

Steve Murchison

Mr. Murchison has more than 29 years of hands on experience in the correctional industry. Steve has held positions including estimating, engineering, project management and as operations manager. He has extensive experience with design, engineering/development, procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of complex integrated security control systems. Steve holds numerous certificates from many manufacture’s including: Omron PLC programming {CJ2 &CS}, Harding Instruments Intercom, Perimeter Products/Senstar, Stentofon/Zentel, TOA N-8000 IP Intercom System, MTI Systems, Honeywell Access Control Systems, Dvtel CCTV, Bosch CCTV IP Solutions, Milestone, Cisco, and VMS Sytems. Steve also holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology from Patterson Technical College.
